for Indigenous Benefit

I will meet up with you face to face, discuss your dream of entering the Tourism Industry and sharing your Culture with as many people possible. Your business will undoubtedly begin with a dream, my appointment will be to navigate you through this journey and bring your desires to fruition. I will be honest but also encouraging – this first part of the adventure is always so exciting.

During the process, I will guide you through the necessary steps in achieving your goals. Advising on how to link the appropriate steps – set up, procurement and other pertinent pieces of the Tourism puzzle. By no means will it be ‘puzzling’, indeed I will make it as fluid as possible. I will always be on hand to assist you through the process.

Getting to the the ‘Export Ready’ stage of your business is where my years of experience in the global travel industry will sharpen up your product. Whether it be by means of fine tuning itineraries, delivery of your product on the ground to the customer, ongoing marketing / representing  of your product, or mentoring staff and walking them through the path of making your product as best it can be.

2021 – Year of Indigenous Tourism.

We are fast approaching the golden age of domestic tourism here in North Queensland. With International travel to most popular destinations by most Australians off limits for the foreseeable future. In 2019, Australian residents undertook 11,300,000 million outbound international trips, spending near AUD$50 Billion. The time is now for us to up-skill, sharpen up approach on bespoke initiatives and show Australians why Tropical North Queensland is so special.

We have so very much to offer – Reef – Rainforest – Outback – Culture. With Mark Olsen at the helm of Cairns Great Barrier Reef and with great incentives and increased funding from Tourism Events Queensland and associated Federal, State and Local Government bodies, there is plentiful opportunities to bring our Indigenous Culture to the forefront and compliment Cairns as a destination, sharing Indigenous Culture with those ‘Aussies’ whom may have never experienced such amazing beauty and pride. Creating pathways and employment for our Youth, getting ready for when the International borders open up again.

To be just plain honest – ‘showing off‘ what is the most beautiful and oldest surviving Culture on Mother Earth.!

Rainforest – Mangroves – Reef

Mangroves are a most integral part of nature here in the North. Acting as the Wet Tropics filter to the Great Barrier Reef, where they act as the nursery to marine life.
